Kunai disguises Luna as a normal schoolgirl so she wont draw attention. The two bounty hunters, 17 year old swordswoman Mikan and 16 year old cross-dressing mage Yukikaze, hunt Sand wolves for their bounty. Kunai, who happened to be nearby, defeats the wolves for skill points then leaves. Mikan and Yukikaze realise Kunai is the demon lord and follow him. Kunai notices Akus injured leg has healed badly, causing her to limp. He uses his skill points to summon one of his NPC aides, Yu Kirino, a doctor and scientist who, despite being a genius, has an unfortunate sadistic streak and gets weird around young boys. Kunai summons her anyway and finds that in this new world Yu is still loyal but has her own free will. Kunai decides to keep a close eye on her and forbids her from killing anyone. Yu fixes Akus leg with her unique skill, Hand of God, but is scolded by Kunai for asking Aku to dress like a boy. While testing her leg Aku seems to suggest she has fallen in love with Kunai. Kunai thanks Yu for her help and his praise causes the now self-aware Yu to experience happiness and develop a crush on him. Later, as Aku sleeps, it is revealed she gained a rare magical survival skill: the Heroine.
